Numerology September 2007 PDF Print

Welcome to monthly Numerology.

A note must be made here about languages. If you think in a different language to English and that language spells the month name differently then the monthly influence will be other than my explanation.

Each month we will explore how our energies may be enhanced or diminished by the perceived influence of the numbers that the name of the month generates.

The year numbers also must be factored into the equation as each year is subtly different. This year, 2007, inserts emotive sharing [2] and responsibility [7] amalgamated into a principle-based influence [2 + 7 = 9].

SEPTEMBER
September is the first of the special series of months running to December each year. This is due to the dual number nature of these months' names and their actual position in the calender line up.
The 'sept' in 'September' means seventh, as September used to be the seventh month in the calendar before July and August were inserted. Thus each year it holds some of the vibrational influences of the number 7 as well as its position number of 9. The influence is stronger than usual during 2007 due to the year not only containing a 7 but also adding to 9 [2007=>2+0+0+7=9].
Responsibility and criticism [7] along with a highly principled social viewpoint [9] infuse this month, more than any other this year.
September is the final month in the sequence of four that start with a letter with the value of 1. This time the letter is S which is the third level for 1 indicating a more casual approach to leadership with a sharing overtone - as it approaches the 2's it assumes the sharing/caring influences.
After S comes E, first level 5, this brings a requirement to be adaptive and to accept appropriate changes without restrictions. P follows, it's a second level 7 and can cause problems when combined with other 7s in the year number. This value looks grumpily at the effects of the changes accepted by the preceeding and following 5s. It can cause resentment if not recognised, but it is not overly detrimental if caught early. T is a third level 2, and enhances the ability to cooperate effectively, actually underming the negatives of the previous letter. E again, with the same values as the previous E, then M, a second level 4, denoting a strengthening of family bonds. The next letter is B, first level 2, which pushes you to seek the advice of others. Lastly we have R, second level 9, giving a sense of completion and belonging.
The total name reduces to the value 4, indicating an influence of getting down to brass tacks, seeing the causes of issues, gathering security and comfort. This value advances the usual values for the energy flow in the month's letters.
Take a more casual, basic approach to the way you ask others to cooperate. Accept appropriate changes without resentment as this can increase the strength of your relationships. Ask advice of those who have been through similar issues in the near past.

About Numerology PDF Print
Numerology is the study of numbers and what they reveal about the energies operating in the universe and ourselves. Numerological divination has been around for thousands of years. We find it in the histories of Egypt, the Middle East, India and China. However, most of what we call ‘numerology’ today was developed by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, around two-and-a-half thousand years ago. Pythagoras taught that numbers are the substance of all things, and that all things perceived in the world are expressions of mathematical ratios. Thus, according to Pythagorean theory, reality is comprised of a mathematical harmony of numbers.

Numerologists use simple arithmetic when devising a chart or forecast. However, numbers have a special meaning in numerology; they are not just seen as symbols of comparative quantity but as vibrations.

In his book, Discovering the Inner Self, Dr David A. Phillips explains the vibrational significance of numbers: “…everything in life is vibration, for all matter is composed of atoms and these are not only vibrating at specific frequencies, but vary from one another by the number of electrons, protons and neutrons they contain. Similarly, vibrations basically vary from one another by the number of cycles per second at which they oscillate. Every sound, colour, fragrance, thought etc., is a vibration and they all dance to the tune of their inherit numbers, and all, in their way, have connections with human life.”

The basis of a numerology reading is the birth chart, which reveals an interrelation of vibrations that reflect the individual’s personality, nature, talents, drives and life purpose. The chart is constructed on a nine-spaced grid, and each number present in the birth date is placed in its appropriate space. The numbers, their distribution in the grid, and the frequency with which a number occurs in a particular space, all have something to say to the numerologist about the subject.

Your ideal pathway in life is revealed by your ruling number, which is the sum total of the numbers in your birth date. This number can help you better understand your life’s purpose, best expression, most suitable vocations, distinctive traits and negative tendencies. By following the pathway indicated by your ruling number, it is said that you allow the core of individuality to grow, and thereby nurture the development of your unique talents and aptitudes.

The other significant numbers that influence your personality are the day number, which is the number of the day of the month on which you were born, and the name number, which is the sum total derived from the letters in your name. The name number reveals how the vibration of your name affects your inner self. The day number represents your outer self, or the manner by which you express your individuality.

Numerologists also use dates and numbers to determine the best times for change and transformation. By assessing the numerological vibration at any given moment, numerologists can tell you when to travel, when to change jobs, when to marry, when to move, or when to buy and sell if you choose to follow their advice.

Numerology is perhaps the most simple esoteric science, yet it offers a profound insight into our motivations, experiences and destiny. By helping us break free from the masks that hide our true selves; numerology can enrich and intensify our journeys to self-actualisation.
